Qingyi Tu
Tu Qingyi is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Safety Science and Engineering, Anhui University of Science and Technology. He is a Young Top-Notch Talent of Anhui Province and has been funded by the Young Scientist B-Class Project of the Anhui Provincial Natural Science Foundation (formerly the "Excellent Young Scientist" Project). He has long been engaged in research on coal mine gas (methane) prevention and control.He has led 14 vertical (government-funded) research projects, including projects under the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Key Research and Development Program, the Young Scholar Project under Anhui Province's Young Top-Notch Talent Program, the Young Scientist B-Class Project of the Anhui Provincial Natural Science Foundation (formerly the "Excellent Young Scientist" Project), and the Outstanding Young Project for Anhui Province's Higher Education Institutions. He has also led or participated in more than 30 horizontal (industry-commissioned) projects, published over 40 academic papers, and been granted more than 10 international and national invention patents.He serves on several academic bodies, including as a member of the Technical Support Team for Coal Mine Gas Prevention and Control under the National Mine Safety Administration and a member of the Methane Control Task Force under the Administrative Center for China's Agenda 21 (ACCA21).
